Confronting your work with readers, getting to know my point of view and debating it so that you can bounce back is also essential. You won’t be alone in front of your page, even if it’s not necessarily blank.

The books in the library at your disposal are also real nuggets of creativity and ideas.
Visual impairment
“La Résidence d’écriture du Faucon” writing residency is also involved in the field of visual impairment and wishes to open up to those for whom the eye, with or without pathology, and the gaze are at the center of their creative work (all domains).
The two residences in the mountains are accessible to the visually impaired: rooms and flats with family meals or cooking facilities. However, they do not have the ‘accessibility’ label.
Why this particular theme?
My family is affected by various eye diseases, and I grew up being aware of this subject. So I became interested in how the ‘sighted’ look at the visually impaired. And the way in which ‘physical disabilities’ are dealt with.
I myself published a literary essay in 2016 with azart-atelier éditions, Toulouse, entitled Borgnitude, dictionnaire tronqué de l’entre-deux, ISBN 979-10-92667-45-5.

My links with the corporate world as an anthropologist and HR professional have led me to propose that the resident be put in touch with both managers and their staff.
For the latter, the aim is to increase their sense of innovation and high standards by meeting an author and going through the various stages of creation involved in writing, editing, publishing and promoting a written work.
The dynamic and very concrete form given to this unusual meeting enables a partnership to be established within the company, and therefore different actions.
Literary awards
“La Résidence d’écriture du Faucon” writing residency is working with its partners to promote the work of its residents and/or those who take part in the various events and other activities organised by the organisation.
It is setting up an annual literary prize to reward ambitious, demanding and solid writing projects, and is currently working on the specifications, the composition of the jury, etc… The prize will be launched at the 1st Moulis Book Fair, at the end of September 2025.
